Important Step 2 CK Information:

Over the last year, we have learned from our students that the Step 2 CK exam is testing a lot of concepts relating to the Step 1 material.  For this reason, when you move through the Internal Medicine portion of the program, you will see that most lectures contain one or more introductory videos that cover the basic sciences information pertaining to each topic.  This is done in order to allow you to review the important basic sciences information pertaining to each topic.  Any lecture that does NOT contain a quiz is considered to be a basic sciences review.  It is not a mandatory portion of the program, however we have added it in to help you perform better on the exam.  Students of ours who have also taken our Step 1 program will recognize most of this information, which overlaps with some info from that program.  This is all purposely done to help you perform as best as you can on the Step 2 CK.

Video Pages:

On each video page, there may be additions/corrections added in typed format below each video.  Please be sure to scroll to the bottom of each video page in case we have added additional information that you should be aware of.  Some lectures are review of the basic sciences.  These lectures will not have an accompanying quiz and will tell you that they are review lectures.  Feel free to watch them for review of important information.

 

Quizzes:

After most lectures you will find a quiz that covers some of the highest yield information for the CK exam.  You can download each quiz, print it, and fill in the answers.  You also have the option of downloading the entire quiz book from the link at the top of the page.  Use these quizzes as study tools during your review of the CK material.  Any lecture that is not followed with a quiz is mainly review of basic sciences principles, and is not necessarily applicable to the CK exam.  These videos will review the important preliminary basic information you need to know in order to move into the clinical management aspect of the exam.

Some students have difficulty uploading the quizzes, and often the browser is the culprit.  We’ve had success with students using Google Chrome.  If this isn’t working, let us know and we will email you a folder with all quizzes.

PDF Downloads: If you would like to download and print another copy of the Success Strategy Guide or the Test-Taking Strategy Guide, you can do so by clicking the links below and then printing them on your desktop printer.  These booklets are an important piece of your preparation puzzle, please read them thoroughly and master the information inside.
